This is my second to review with this challenge, and as delightful as the first. Your choices in describing the gent pictured is as appealing as the scene. This part being my favorite, almost as if plucked from the Bible.

And when the people flock around, I've often heard them say,
"We always hear the angels sing each time he starts to play".

For there's an air about him when he picks up his guitar,
an aura of divinity, you'll feel it from afar.
Some say that he was born with music deep within his soul,
and he has sworn to share his gift; to please God is his goal.

I like music and your setting. I wasn't transported, but I believe you know him. Perhaps check rhythm in some lines; I felt extra syllables could be trimmed.
