Very well structured piece of work but I found it hard to understand. Who is 'the beautiful dreamer? Is the poem urging us to aspire to greater things - as did the famous poets, painters, architects throughout history - by following our dreams and not waiting for 'providence' to show us the way? The author obviously has strong spiritual feelings.

This poem speaks to me about the birth of creative inspiration from God and through the divinely created "dreamer" who has the compulsion to create and reflect the "Hand that paints alive." Artful and theological.

I never thought of it quite like that, God created us to dream, "Now faith is the substance f things hope for..." He be deliberately made us expectant of the many blessings He could bring our way, despite the apparent hopeless condition of our world. Beautifully composed Michael, so many upbeat expressions and phrases, well done, blessings, Roy

Beautiful poem...even though I do not have a clue of its meaning other than a babe was born on a whipporwill night at end of Autumn..Dec 20th? Whipporwills sing in summer?
And even though the baby was born in a random location, it will strive for excellence...becoming another Mozart or Michealangelo?....Such is the will of the artist...perseverance. ..? A multi-layered poem which I cannot decipher except at its most basic level...anything else would be projection...
Write on...

Dear Michael,
Your writing has grown and blossomed so much since last I read you. This had many layers, yet was penned with a simplicity that makes it more powerful. If we cannot understand what we read, then how can it touch that part of us that sings with a poetic voice?

Thus for me, you were able to bridge your artistry with the reader. That ability I enjoyed very much.
Really well done, so much growth in your poetic style, after being away I can see it immediately.
Great job here.
Thanks for sharing,
M

This is TRULY a MAGNIFICENT work worthy of a zillion stars but: (I only have 5) and a zillion apologies and congratulations! This one could be a classic given the power of the message, the generous packaging in all ways and best of all, the sincere depth of consideration of what riches are wrapped (an hopefully unwrapped) in the gifts of our children. Many thanks for a delightful read! Vance

...And there was light...and the dreaming began, and it was good, for dreams were made of innocence that even Michelangelo would be graced by presence. Yet we know no what we knew not, then, it is a two way street and sometimes innocence lost, fate has the smile, yet we dream on. Lyrical with good balance in reference to theme and its delivery.

Beautiful, my brother.
My best wishes, keep up the good work.

Hey Michael. A beautiful and very accessible write, even for those who struggle to tie their own shoelaces. Fess up, little bro. is this your first visit to planet blue or your third perhaps? You are a young visionary with a very old and gifted soul. I stared in awe at the ceiling of the Cistina Capella and started crying. Much love from your Australian nonna (grandpapa) DJ

I've only seen it in pictures DJ...-smile-...I would have too if I were you...or because I am. ya know I remember watching that movie with Tom hanks...he plays this guy diagnosed with aids. and how all of the sudden "everything" changed....anyway...in one scene...he's with his lawyer...um casual setting...and he's listening to this ah Italian Opera...I think....periodically he would tell the "story" of the song while it was sung. the voice was full...completely full of emotion....and I knew it was beautiful....though I barely understood what it was about. ah I'm just another you Bro...love Michael
