Thank you for your encouraging words.

Although the parallels drawn between rain and tears is not novel, I like how you personify the weather as your sister, weeping with you. The parallel enhanced by your use of synonymous verbs--"slips" and "slides."

I absolutely love this. I love anything rainy. Must be the Irish in me, ha ha. Raining here right now, my perfect weather! Good luck here...blessings....

Beautiful entry for Crying Out Loud! You have captured the mood that is so often felt on a rainy day. The alliteration of "weather weeps" is especially beautiful. Good luck to you in this contest!

A very well-written poem. When we cry we release stress, I like to cry freely when cutting onions, no one will ever guess why my eyes are all teary. Accompanied by the rain is even a better idea.

Pathetic fallacy was often used by writer to make the weather appear sympathetic to the feelings of the protagonist or to the emotions expressed in the script. So you are in good company here with this 5-7-5. You make no claim for it being other than a 5-7-5 such as a senryu for example, please. I think you are right in this. There is not enough of a shock in the last line to elevate it to the higher levels of Japanese art. As a 5-7-5 however it is excellent.

Nice connection here between a natural event and a human emotion. Wet weather can sometimes accentuate our feelings of sadness. Raindrops trickling down glass do tend to have a depressing effect.

A prompt about weeping, and a five-seven-five poem about weeping on a rainy day. This seems quite appropriate and is easy to review indeed.

Pretty effective and visual wording here. I can see in my mind the person sitting by the window watching the rain as tears roll down her cheeks. A message of sadness and loneliness.

I like the parallel you have here. Both are very visual--tears slipping down your cheeks and rain sliding down the window pane.
Nice 'w' alliteration: 'weather weeps with me'
Good luck in the contest.
