Thanks for the review and sincere comments. The health issues have been on going since 2005. Each doctors visit becomes a new adventure for me.

This poem shows you've been through a lot. You have made it through somewhat whole. I don't totally believe you can be whole after a parent's death or the death of any loved one because they were a part of you taken away.

It sounds like you are able to handle death now and are thankful for the life you have.

I applaud you for being so open and honest about your life story. I am the same way. I think it's the best way of writing when it comes from the heart.

I did find this line confusing:

At ages forty six and fifty six, I finally am a free man [ is it forty six or fifty six... you need to clarify for the reader ] also include a dash > this way: forty-six fifty-six

Gypsy, at age 46 I got divorced, then turned right around and got married again. At age 56, I was divorced for the final time in my life. I find that when I write about these things it does my soul, heart and mind of these things. Thank you for your excellent preview and comments,,,,,,,,Jim

Susan, my life was never very easy. I made some bad decisions and paid for them. Emotionally, I was hurt when my parents and brother died. But, I may not go to church, but my faith in my Savior is very strong and will never waver. Thank you my friend for these shiny six stars. You know that truly appreciate them.
