You have a magical way with words, my friend, and this piece will be a blessing to all who have the pleasure of reading it, as it has me. Thanks for sharing your thoughts in this fine poem. :-)

A picture is worth a thousand words but you're wonderfully versed poem did the trick with much less. The combination of the two is very effective. What I really liked the most was the last ending thought.

First, I have to comment on this wonderful photograph - your daughters are so beautiful, Roy; seriously - they glow! And the family resemblance is quite remarkable.
Now your marvelous poem: I think I have a new favorite of your poems, my friend, or darn close! What a tender, beautiful verse you've written, right from those first two elegant lines:"The darkness flees when first light comes and strikes the morning dew..." Gorgeous!

Wonderful to read a poetic appreciation and celebration of new human life, as coming from God as a 'precious gift' in these stanzas'uniquely formed and styled'-you are blessed in your beautiful daughters

Roy: your daughters and family must love your joy and creative poems!
Keep a scrapbook with their photos and your poems. I like the gems without
price. Children are gems of God's joy! What a great family! God bless!

This is such a beautiful poem you have written. Very heartfelt and moving. I flows really well and is just a pleasure to read. I know my Mom never stops seeing me as her little girl at times and that's okay. Great job!

Such a lovely tribute to your daughter(s), Roy! I could certainly identify with your words, for I have daughters as well. I love the way you express your feelings. Your opening line is lovely-"The darkness flees when first light comes". You contrast the dark with so many words that signify brightness, such as excitement, joy, shines, gem, love..... Nice work!
