That is such a lovely tribute to your mother-in-law, have you shown her? It is nice when daughter-in-laws feel that way about their son's mother, and more so when the mum thinks that way of their daughter-in-law. It's really lovely. Well done! xsx Sandra

Yes, She called me today , blushing , ( I could tell over the phone) to say thank you. I told her it was all true and thanked her again. I am happy I wrote it for her.

You should write her stories and about her life.Your poem is well written and the photo you chose completes the poem well. People like your mother in law never realize how special they are because they are them.

Exemplary poem. You expressed yourself so well, I really 'got' what you were saying. The order of the poem makes perfect sense. I love the ending two lines, especially. It works well that you talked about her, and then to her, in the end. Peggy must have been a wonderful person, and you are a testament to that. Write her story, why don't you. You are the one to do it, for her, and for you. I love the free verse form you chose to write it in. It suits it well. Thank you for sharing your story of your relationship with her. I enjoyed reading your poem very much.

I'm not sure what poetry form you have used here. I guess it fits more into a free verse form?
