Another fine chapter, Rhonda--I wonder what the noise is they heard--there's nothing quite as rude as Mummifying-Interruptas!

Too true, Mike, but I assure you, there is definitely something afoot!
Thanks for the review, my friend,

Excellent. I loved the line where she said all dead people should be healthy, I really got a chuckle out of it. This is a really great story and I am enjoying it. I became your fan so I won't miss any of. Oh, and because you seem like a nice person and I like you. Keep writing. I could find no errors.

Awwww, you are so sweet. I like you, too, and your writing is exceptional. I remember you from long ago. I can't tell you how excited I am to have you following the story.

I really enjoyed part one, I could see myself in the room, and watching everything take place. Very good at keeping me interested. I looking forward to reading and reviewing in the future.

I really appreciate the comments. I was certainly hoping the description and dialogue would help you feel like you were a part of the story.
Thanks again,

The repartee between Prince and Dr. Frankenstein and Tabby is a master stroke, the girl opis clever, and if I believed in these rituals, I would have chosen her as a Nubian princess as well? But how is she going to get away with this now? Will the others arrive in time, and what can they do? Well done, Rhonda, excellent scribing, blessings, Roy

Thank you, Roy, for your great support of a project that's probably out of your comfort zone. You are always intuitive and knowledgeable in your assessments.
Of course, I don't believe in the rituals, either, but the idea that danger can occur that changes a person is real.its not a true allegory, but it does have a bit of symbolism.
Thanks for keeping up with the story,
Rhonda

Rhonda, I'm still having trouble getting my heart and soul into this "new" type of writing. I know it is very simply an age (or generational) thing because everywhere I look, people are writing sci-fi or sci-fan. My daughter is 52, an avid reader and is reading fantasy and my granddaughter, 21, is also. But I still prefer David McCullough, biographical non-fiction and Cormac McCarthy Western/Mexican fiction. I gave it my best shot. Marcia GHW

Thank you, Macia, for trying. You're a sweetheart for going out of your comfort zone. My purpose behind using sci fi is to take modern problems and put them in a different setting, allowing people to look at the situation in a "safe area". Sort of a long story, but I actually have a method to my madness. But at the end of the day, it all comes down to what you like to read. You were fair with me, and I appreciate it. If you haven't yet, read Feral from Malanda's work. He has an autobiography he's working on that you would probably like. Take care,
Rhonda

Thank you, Barbara. I greatly value your reviews, and I have gotten a ways into your books. I've been a bit behind as I was on vacation, and then my father-in-law passed away yesterday.
Thanks again, for the wonderful review
Rhonda

This was another good chapter. You developed the characters more in this and I liked that. That noise was a nice touch - sounds like her friends are getting closer
