Hurts to read, so sadly true. Very powerfully presented. And, I've listened to American books a lot recently on the same horrific, cruel, theme. Ego theme on which man's world was built, still living in its Old Testament of justification and glorification of sacrifice.

But, I believe they are regaining their pride now; and although in the general worldly decline this is very hard, it actually stands forth for its rapid unlit in spirit, art, song, and respect for the individual, especially elders. And, I believe, once we transcend from man's kind to humanity, we will open our roots to the rich humus with humility, and nourish our quickening new generations through opening up our global roots of our whole Tree of Knowledge deep into nature, dreamtime, and myth long, long before Adam ego, forged capacity for individual choice and responsibilities of spiritual maturity in Christ. Later, gifting each unconditioned love, and re-spun- ability in eternal life, from which one chooses this sojourn to be part of one Golden Harvest of Co-creative New Life, always unfolding in Christ and God's creative Words daily. From stars, to dust, Earth and natural evolution, we are each born in place and time and the English continued to suffer the limits of their establishment, as white Australian's capitalised on securing their `lucky country', or promised land!

For me, the artwork, I may have seen in Mary Durack's, Kings in Grass Castles, it brought up my first past-life connection; hence I think the gift of your work for me. Thanks Aussie, Maureen*&*

Thanks for reading Maureen. We can't go back and undo the wrongs; black doesn't rub off on white man's skin. Blessings, Kay.

No, but we are one blood, and DNA; therefore our growth from the humUS of human becoming, hopefully, gifts new fruits and nourishment for efforts, understanding, and our actually human mature being each day for the choices gifted on the Way: I believe of Christ, and the larger Divine Plan which seeded our particular birth and purposes needed on Earth in our spaces and time.

I feel in is likely as a woman, with your personal challenges and destiny, you my dear have had to transcend many limits of mankind, and our evolutionary nature, to gift the sensitivity, compassion and understanding your share so beautifully as you keep striving.

I believe we are blest we have our newly flowering First Australian illuminating their spiritual blessings, respect of each individual, especially elders, and love and work for family and community as it grows and flowers through life with Earth and all its natural colouring and symbolism.

Sadly, the darker side is the continuing reality of Adam and our developing the egotistic gifts of mankind and mind, which our world indigenous assimilate into their transcendence in spirit and eternity. That a few of God's first creation of male and female have survived and offer new dimensions of Under-standing to our Earth Tree of Life is miracle, as they have been, still largely unrecognised, I believe. And, I bless you for stirring such thoughts, and as the Bible says, keep heading forth with love, Maureen*&*

Maureen, Thanks so much. As we can see, the blacks are rising up - predicted in the Bible. To be truly wise, one must take in all cultures, all religions, not just the Bible. There is much to learn from all. Love, Kay.

Yes! The fragmentation of wisdom is such a sad reality. We are so privileged to be part of this time, and I think, must grasp the responsibilities of empowering co-creative change Mother Earth and all need, and hope we mature for. great to share and bond our thoughts, Kay! love and hugs, Maureen*&*

You always write such deeply moving pieces. I think many people forget just how old these civilizations which were enslaved were and I liked the manner in which you called that out in this well penned piece. Truly a stirring read and I thank you very much for sharing it.

54,000 years my people walked our land. In 1778 the whites destroyed everything. 'Sorry' doesn't cut it. Just like America, the wrongs can't be undone and the blacks will rise up (Revelation) so it says in the Bible. My people never heard of the Bible, they worshiped the one true god who sustained them: the earth, sea, sky and animals. Thank you, my friend. Kay XX

Telling it like it was and still is, Kay. And the story goes on. Again, good history in your poem.

Hi Kay

Been so long, I'm sorry. I've been caught up with the Potlatch Poetry and Prose, it's been good learning, but consumes so much time to read and review and reply, I've been neglecting some of my favourites.

Strong words you've written ... and all true. There is much to make up for. I always used to tell my sons, "Sorry, is too late". There does seem to be some successful movement in the improvement of conditions, though not enough. I do see the Aboriginal young people starting to speak out and have voice with learning from their Elders. I would like to see the white youth participating much more. One of my mother's dearest friend was an Aboriginal woman (named Kay, funnily enough), she was taken from her mother and luckily found a kind white family, though still, she was only taught sewing, cooking and such. She had a beautiful kind heart and spirit despite the prejudice of her time. As a young woman, she found she could not live with her people and not interested in the young men as unfortunately alcohol was a huge issue. She ended up living much of her life in the north shore suburb of St Ives (which you will know), worked with whites and my mother until retirement. Unfortunately it was no area to find a husband and she remained single. What a lovely mother she would have made ... she made the best of her life and kept in touch with her family and had a group of friends she socialised with. I often think that she deserved a much better life and an opportunity to find love and create her own family. Perhaps she made a choice ... after all things weren't really good at that time for her and her people.

Always a good idea to create awareness and keep it in the public eye. You might wish to read Mikey's (michaelcahill) latest editorial piece about racism in the US. His is written in satire, though gets the message across. I always remember reading in one of those sago history novel moving over several hundred years. The smart and the kind, decent people, expected change from the Feudal system in maybe ten years .... it was three hundred years before the mass thinking changed to what some knew back when. Change is long, slow, laborious and mostly unfair.

Great work Kay, I wish I had a six for this. Hugs - Lovi xoxo

I was only thinking about you yesterday, true! Now, you have the bones of a good short story or poem about Kay. Why not write her story. If you don't I'll come down there and take your chocolate from you! Love, Kay (the second one)XX
