Peggy and I will celebrate our 57th this coming Oct.the Lord willing and the rapture doesn't happen.
You have a rare wife and one to whom you are wise to listen.
There was a time in my life that I was unhappy with the intelligence God equip me, so I prayed for more brain power, my Sunshine was sitting beside me in the car,and I kid you not, He impressed me with the words, "They are sitting beside you!" And as I thought about it, I began to recall how many times I listened to her and things turned out good; and the many times I did not listen to her and things turned sour.
Too bad Adam didn' have a help mate like you and I have.

"Where would we be without them?" I have often told friends if I wasn't married to my wife I would be driving a very expensive car. However, I would probably be living in it....thanks for the review, friend and God bless you and your dear wife, Dennis

The truth is a good wife is so hard to find, and in most cases the husband honestly feels like he "Frankly, I don't have a clue" what she sees in him.
No one said marriage was easy but with the right woman it is more than well worth the efforts and the joys it produces.
Staying God-focused in the marriage does indeed go so far in helping to make it work.

Yes, of course you are right. Her name is Gaye and we have gone together since High School! Congratulations to you and Frank!
Perhaps you sometimes wonder if he knows what you are doing for him? We had a friend who stood by her husband as he seemed to descend into a non-communicative state. Yet she said she knew when the "professionals" didn't, that he knew when she was with him. I hope you find that a realistic encouragement, as I am sure you sometimes feel the strain of thinking for two.

Thanks, John Boy. Thankfully the disease moves very slow. What's scary though is his dream last night. He saw himself in a casket with a lot of people standing around. He woke up and felt as if he were dying. So three hours later, I made him take out for a big lunch. LOL
