This is a sweet tribute to the woman you love. Nice job heading off the question "what does she see in you?" with that last line...keeps stupid theories out of the reviews. Well done.

I am sure that my X-husband would agree with your kind words of wisdom, as I have heard him say many a times that had he known, he would have stuck with the woman of his youth. Two marriages later, he still says these words.
My question to you is this: Why does it seem to take a man so many years before he learns to appreciate the jewel that he started out with? What is up with that?

Too many variables in individuals for me to give a pat answer. I'm just glad we started out with mutual respect for each other, weathered storms, misunderstood one another at times, loved our kids together and had some good friends along the way. Having God and church and a sense of humor including ourselves as objects of same didn't hurt either.

    Sounds to me like your X missed a great opportunity to grow/mature with you but opted for immaturity along the way. God bless you, Dennis

It's funny, I just wrote a love poem about a guy who didn't get just what a gem had been right under his nose until a long time after marriage. Yes, that's you. And could a wife expect a lovelier testimonial than this. Your wife sounds like a perfect partner and a wonderful human being. I hope she read this. Poeople like her deserved to know just why they are loved. As for her love for you, she may need to write one for you I reverse. Well scribed and emotionally moving.

This testimonial for your wife proves that she writes well too. (That's humor) It's a great honor to read such a tribute to a life partner. I've had thirty years with my wife and she is much the same. I also wonder what she sees in me. I expect I'm a never ending project. Happy day.
