I am having fun reading them, you're welcome.

G'day Sis. Finally I get to read this without sitting in chest deep water hahahah!
"I say we change speakers. Tabby, you want to tell what happened in the dungeon?" (Perfect handover.)
"We're two short," he said. "Tabby and Sally aren't here." (Scary imagery.)
""Please don't cry," Nancy said. "That isn't going to help us rescue either one of them." (Correct! I've spent half my life telling people not to panic as it doesn't help.)
" It might not be easy to figure out at first, but if you keep working at it, you'll get it." (Yep!)
"I hate math." (Hahahaha! Touche!)
"Even he wouldn't try to carry two unconscious people down a flight of stairs." (Was it only one flight?)
"I wouldn't put it past her to have been putting (it) on to distract Akie."
(I still think it's funny how you have a girl called "Tabby" when there is a pussy cat in the group lol)
Bugger! Drats! And double drats! I thought it was the "Ancient psychopath" lol, I love that.
Beautifully done and very entertaining stuff once again mate.
Cheers Fez

Thank you, thank you, my friend! I'm glad you got caught up, because the "Girls" might need help from their favorite "Survivor Guy!" Haha,
I appreciate the stellar review, and look forward to your next chapter!!
Hugs to the wet Kwalas,

So this is the continuation of the previous chapter I have just reviewed and this post certainly connected the dots clearly and the thread of events unfold. Thanks for sharing this exciting story.

Thank you for following up on the chapters. I usually wait until one goes out before I post another one, but I'm on vacation at my daughter's and had to post when I could.
Have a great rest of the week,
Rhonda

-I guess you would have to say "so much for the best laid plans" at the end of this chapter!
-I was wondering if it would be Akie or not.
-There is a bit of doubt coming from Becky, but the others manage to work on their plan, and they work as a group.
-I can see why doubt would creep in; this has been a grueling situation for all of them.
-I like the reference to math from Bruce, but Becky doesn't like math. It just isn't her day.
-Elizabeth is astute and knows her sister: " I wouldn't put it past her to have been putting on to distract Akie."
-Bruce gets the group thinking and organizing to use his plan, but unfortunately, it "hit Sally square in the chest and send her sailing back out the door."
-I guess the positive thing is Sally is back with the group, but where are the brothers and Sage, and what about Tabby? So many questions yet to be answered.
-Two very minor things: " than he's already taken her" [then]
* In the quote above "in the chest and send her sailing" [sent or sends?]

Thanks so much for the review. Great comments:
On the spag: I had the then/than thing right, then started looking at it too long and changed it to the wrong one. haha. thanks for catching it.
I never even caught the last one at all, so thanks for sure on that!
We won't here about the boys and Sage for a bit as Tabby speaks next, but they'll show back up eventually!
On Becky's meltdown, I was trying to show that they are just kids, and sometimes aren't at their best. Becky is often the week link on the outings as she's more emotional than the others. It started out that Sally, but Sally grew as a character. The modern day Becky is a bit stronger. All in all, though, they support each other with their strengths!
Thanks again,
Rhonda

You are very welcome, as always. I didn't get the second one either until I was reading over my review before sending it! It will be interesting hearing from Tabby; she sure is in a weird situation. I think young or adult, meltdowns are part of the human make up. You do a good job of showing the courage and support they have for one another.

Oh, how often traps backfire
snap upon those who set them
Unexpected consequences
"I hate math" lol
that'll get a lot of agreement from young readers
(but fortunately, not all)
I guess the lesson of this chapter is:
look before you leap,
or look before you release a sarcophagus
swinging from a pendulum
But, that's the way the pendulum swings
Another fine chapter of twists and turn
in the deeds of the daredevil girls

Thanks, my friend! Yes, that is about how they swing, isn't it??
Yeah, I thought the math anxiety crowd would like the part about Becky not liking math. Too true that not all feel that way, which makes me happy because I teach chemistry!
Thanks so much for the review and comments,
Rhonda

Great job, Rhonda. I like the dialogue at the beginning when they are deciding who will go next.
And then the twist at the end was good too. I hope Sally is not hurt. :-)

Some times the plan doesn't always work as it is supposed to do. This is very well written with an interesting flow of words, making for a very good read.

Oh dear, Rhonda, that was not so good what happened to Sally there. How unlucky can you be. Can't wait to see what's happening next. All the best. Ulla:)))

Just love it! I love the waves of tension, and how it rises with the different speakers story and a new mix of interaction and emotion, then starts to subside, and the next surprise! Much clearer with the standard quotation marks! Great story to watch in progress, and to perhaps adventure back in time while snug and safe in bed! Thanks Rhonda, Maureen*&*

Thank you, Maureen, for the wonderful and exciting 6 star review, and for your great comments on how the story builds and subsides. It's exactly what I was trying to do.
I'm also glad you like the quotation marks as they are now. I do, too!
Have a great week my dear friend,

Hello, Rhonda,
This is the first time I read your work but I have heard your name from Fez. He always gives you credit in some of his stories. I can see why. I enjoyed this story! The plan was entertaining. What a great plan they had until Sally came walking through the door. Well developed characters. Great story!
