How humbling to consider one's self in comparison to whomever one considers the Creator of all being. You have done a beautiful job of it, using the imagery of wind as a mere puff to be you and mighty breeze to be the Lord.

Yes, time can be gone with just a glance. We can't determine what will happen from day to day. Excellent expression. Great ABCB rhyme, and it flows smoothly. Really something to think about. judi

God doesn't reckon time the way we do. A minute in heaven might be a millennia on Earth. In fact, we base all of our time as it relates to Christ's death, before (BC) and after (AD). A millennia is a period of a thousand years, especially when calculated from the traditional date of the birth of Christ. So aren't our mortal lives nothing more than a wafting whisper on the breezes of eternity?

A well written poem that puts our "tempests in a teapot" into proper perspective. These lines jumped out at me and resonate:
