This is a clear definitive statement in a free form poem with a fair amount of rhyme in there. Though it is not particularly poetic, the finest definition of political correctness that I have heard is, that it is the firmly held belief that it is possible to pick up a piece of shit by the clean end.

I understand the sometimes need for "political correctness" but, you are right about the politicians telling us what they think we want to hear. I don't follow crowds, nor allow someone to "Control" my mind. I am glad you spoke your mind and stood up for what you believed in. I remember when Bob Dylan wrote and sang, "Don't follow leaders, watch the parking meters". One more thing. You are right when you say that politicians "remain loyal to each other". That is part of the problem. We need to question motives and think for ourselves individually. Thanks for bringing up an important issue into reader's consciousness.

You are absolutely right! Political correctness is tearing our country apart! People need to use their own minds...for God made each one of us special. We all give something to this great country of ours. Take the Government out of most of it and put the people's rights back in! I could feel the passion for liberty in your poem! I enjoyed your poem. Your topic is well explained & so current. Just look at what is going on today. We are told what to believe & sadly many believe it. I like the color scheme of your poem & the picture. Both work well to create a memorable read.
