You are most welcome Bill

Writing rhyme is difficult, and I would never attempt it. You leave a great deal to the reader's imagination partly, I believe, because of the restrictions of the form. However, I was able to leap the gap and imagine the life of a man forever embittered and set on embittering his offspring of uncertain paternity.

...Uncertain paternity... is a great phrase. Write that down.

Bill,
This poem is awesome!
The end rhymes are perfect. I looked forward to each one. I studied "Id" in school and I think these kids are going to grow up on the wrong side of reality if that's all they have in their brains--I think that's what you meant.
An exceptional, sarcastic poem with a lot of twisted humor.
Good luck in the contest, Bill.
Best wishes,
Cindy

This was funny, I think I had this guy in my squad in the Army. Why'd you revive this one? Trying to move it up in the rankings? Stay safe and stay healthy in the new year.

Jay Squires asked me to revive some older poems.

That's quite the story! Sounds like they had a happier ending than Frankenstein. They even started a family. I'm hoping they aren't all that sinister.

They have the nuts and bolts for a happy relationship.

Sounds like a match out of Hell. Now, I am not sure but I do believe
Franco made the wrong choice and together they are not good. Did I get it right or am I all wet?

He married a big doll.

Dear Bill, I am not surprised that you could invent people out of that fertile mind of yours. This whole family is quite unique, but what I want to know is why did you have
The Funnelatches pay so little for their kids?
Sounds like some people I know.

What a poem. I laughed all the way through it. Your play on words, rhymes are great. I can see why it earned such high marks. I'm so glad you revived this. Thanks for the chuckle

Franco is a flipping psycho! There's a lot you are trying to convey in a very humorous poem. Humor is the best way to convey hard messages. It was good to read out loud and easy to read. I found it hard to comprehend at first until I read it again and had to believe that buddy's sibling is an actual doll.

Bill,
Yep. That's what you get for making up your mind before you've had time to check things through. You can jump into your own disaster.
Thanks! Fun!
