So long, but very good and holds one's interest.
There was never a truer statement than this one:
Acceptance of facts is absolutely essential for the climb to continue.

Ignoring facts is the epitome of foolishness. I think the emotional side of humanity lends itself to that.

This article makes one wonder if the whole human experience isn't just one big cosmic experiment.

Good work. Makes a person think!

Socialisation dynamics is an incredibly interesting and it is a very broad church, I've always been fascinated by our ability to make it work despite the many varied and varied thoughts of thinking, but it seems to me, it's oversimplification is to fit, one doesn't have to understand the broad implications, which is for the more intellectual, I do understand where we are now, it's more divisional than I've ever seen. Well done, blessings Roy

I felt I was back in my education classes learning about Maslow. I am getting really down own the media and feel they choose who will be each party's nomination and who will be our next president. They only give us information they feel need to know. Your post is very well written. Thank you for sharing

Great and deep essay. I liked to be reminded again of the Maslow's pyramid of needs. Fascinating concept from where I can understand my own and primitive self. I learned more today. Thank you.

there are many whose egos put on act of being something other than what they truly are in order to gain status within a group. How true

As always, your writing is excellent and as you know I love what you write about. Amen to your author notes, my friend~Debbie

An interesting, thought provoking and well-written chapter. You provide good analyses of humanity, but I do feel that it is not a negative that many take the 'don't know, don't care' attitude. I think it is a survival trait, and one, at times, I really wished I possessed.

It doesn't matter how brilliant I am, I'm old and not particularly strong, and
in this world of chosen sides and fearful greed for power, I must walk very softly and shun the mad dogs all around me. Yon Cogitator thinks too much...enjoyable reading...

I really don't like the use of social animals and dissecting our human social development in the spectrum of Maslow's needs hierarchy. The term social animals negates the importance of the creation of mankind far superior than animals. If you belong to the breed of social animals, how can you possibly write this seemingly logical analysis that animals are definitely not capable of. It can only prove one thing, we humans are not merely some one-celled blobs that have evolved into humans. We are by far better than that, better than mere social animals. God bless.

This is a very well written essay. Over the years I've learned a lot about the power of thought. The subject surfaces through my metaphysical readings as well as psychology.

You covered a lot of material while holding this reader's interest. I can see a lot of thought and energy went into writing this piece. Good work.

Hi Stas, this is good content. It looks like you've really tried to get a lot of coherent schools of thought into one place, and boil it down. In that way I think it's excellent. Are there some additional lessons you feel can be derived from what you've read? How else can people fulfill their wants besides what we're doing now? I wish you luck. Thank you for your post.
