HAHAHAHAHAHA! Eeeeewwwww! What a great poem! I LOVED it.
One tiny typo -
S2, L2 - "...Bill(')s mum..." - needs apostrophe for possession
I'm delighted, and won't forget THIS one! :))

A well-written humorous poem, dentures are custom made and will rarely fits another 100%. The solution in this case, one will chew the meat for the other.

In Dickensian times Sandra, dentures were made of wood. I suppose a chisel would be part of a dentists medical equipment. Thank you so much for reading, I really appreciate it. Best regards Linda.

Linda, this is very humorous. That would be something for an
undertaker to steal things out of the casket and then sell them.
Also, the part about her wanting to borrow his teeth and then
he said he'd just chew the beef for her.

Love your writing style and use of puns every now and then. I can really sink my teeth into this poem, but I'll have the soup, as my teeth were a better fit for Mum!
(Written with tongue in cheek.)
Bless you!

Haha.
Humorous and yucky! I have no doubt this is the kind of thing that was done back in the day. The dead were often a source of everyday items for those remaining. The thought of it now is quite disgusting!
Very funny last verse ends this charming, rhyming ditty.
I enjoyed it : )

Ah yes, nothing went to waste back then. The first dentures were made of wood so they could at least be used to light the fire. Thanks for reading. Best regards Linda.

What a giggle, so creative. I love the road testing applied to the teeth. I have my own dentures and rather than giving someone to chew the beef for me I cut it very fine!
