It is one of my dreams to see all of the places that are home to the Polynesian culture. It holds a fascinating history.
I enjoyed your quatrains with rhyming couplets.

Ah... I've never been to Bali, or Indonesia, so forgive my stupidity. I had assumed with a name like Bali, that it was close to the Polynesian Language, and therefore had it's roots in the Polynesian culture, which encompasses the area of New Zealand all extends as far north as Hawaii, and as far east as the Easter Islands. Bali is farther west, and not in that territory - but, it's close geographically speaking. I should have known that a 'B' in Bali wasn't right, as the Tahitians and Hawaiians have only 13 letters in their alphabet, and B isn't one of them. My bad. Rose.

That's ok Rose, the people are of Malay extract, speaking a variant of Malay same alphabet as ours, my son in law is Indonesian.and my little granddaughter is my beautiful girl, of course she's an Aussie, but half her relatives are here, this is frequented by Aussies a lot. A popular holiday destination, the people are lovely Roy
