The content structure is well done and the format,too. Real LOVE does need respect and faithfulness all throughout daily life. Gentleness e caresses are required and needed constantly accross our tiny daily actions. Real love suddenly comes along but most of us let it go without realizing it. I do like best the first verse of your poem. I wouldn't have started all the lines with capital letters

I like your attitude -- pretty much saying - I've found a good thing - now don't mess it up!!! And isn't that the truth for all of us?? Here we have this beautiful planet...it only requires a teensy bit of care. We can do that, right?? Quite nice. Thanks!

Hi there;
How wonderful to see a lovely poem from you! It is entirely true that only with gratitude will love be allowed to grow. A love that is taken for granted is stunted. Thank you for sharing,

Your opening line draws the reader into your poem. I like the relationship between love and gratitude, it shows love in a positive light. Excellent poem with a smooth flow of words that makes the reader feel good.

I think this is a good entry for the 'Love Poetry' writing prompt.
Well written, well done. A good analogy.
Good luck to you with the competition.

Good to hear from you, Vance. We should never take things for granted in relationships. As you say, it takes constant care to keep them alive and well. We have much to be grateful for when they sparkle.

Great job!
I love the "Let not its springs ere be tainted" line.
So true what you say about how a dark and painful attitude can cause "rust" to grow.

Beautifully said, His Grayness. Made me tear up a bit. The love of my life died many years ago. Your poem says so much with so few words. Well done. I, myself, am not a poet. But appreciate the words and sentiments said in this poem of love. Keep the feelings coming. Thank you for sharing.

A very well-written poem. True love is like a fountain that never runs dry, and the water is always sweet. We can trust that we will never be received and we are overwhelmed with gratitude.

I'm definitely not a poem person, so I'm not sure I understand. I sounds beautiful and makes me want to read more but I just don't quite get it. I do like the overall message of not letting love fade, truly wonderful.

Thanks for your review Cal, and I'm sorry the analogy of the fountain of water and the fountain of love did not connect with you, but I appreciate your time to offer a review. HIS GRAYNESS Vance
