Excellent 5/7/5 for the 5/7/5 spring contest entry. I like the theme of flowers and your syllable count is perfect. I wish you the best in the contest.

This is such a beautiful entry for the contest. Indeed Magnolias are beautiful! Oh how I've waited for spring!!! Great job on this 5-7-5. It's difficult to say much with so little but you did it and did it well!

I also pronounce it, (mag-nol-ya). These flowering trees are so fragrant, they deserve a poem. Your poem brings the olfactory experience to the reader with a minimum use of words.

fragrant magnolia Is a wonderful 575 about spring writing prompt entry. You took me back to Mississippi through the beauty of the picture you incorporated And the wafting of the literary exquisiteness that is your poem. thanks for sharing. May God bless you!

Ah, Magnolia. What a beautiful plant, what delicious flowers. This excellent haiku really reminds and links to memory of scent and beauty. The satori line gives connection to memory and place. A delightful addition to the imagery in line 1 and two. Excellent entry. Very well conceived and structured.

Magnolias are so lovely, but it's a shame they don't last longer. My mother-in-law had a beautiful magnolia tree, but the blossoms were always gone too soon. They are so fragrant they fill the spring air. If you're away from home, there's nothing better to remind you of it than the scent of the lovely flowers. Best of luck in the contest. judi

This piece succeeds in creating imagery which is quiet the accomplishment given the restrictions of this short for of poetry. I really enjoyed this piece.
