Sorry my reply is so long in coming, Selina. Thank you for this lovely review, I have been off FanStory for awhile, but glad to see your review just the same.

I didn't realize you were on my fan base. What a beautiful write. I am not sure why it reminds of ''Gone with The Wind'. beautiful aura with a serene repeating line. I will have to find you more often.
So good.
My best wishes.

Wow, what a beautifully told tragedy. My heart goes out to the narrator who is filled with such love for this undeserving character. Already her/his heart is broken, but not enough to stop loving this person, even though he/she knows that twice more the character will be unfaithful. That's how I took it, at least. This reads like a classic. Well done.

There is something hauntingly beautiful about this lines. I can't begin to say which are my favorite lines, they are all so gripping. "Oh love my love..." But why 'twice more' that tantalizes my curiosity.

Thanks so much, Serendipity! You are very generous in bestowing the gift of six. So delighted you liked this first attempted triolet:)

Nicely written triolet about a person betrayed by a love. But it seems like the person is willing to give a second chance but the love won't show up.
Good luck in the contest.

Thank you, Dragonpoet, for your review and insight. No they won't show up on those heathered moors... nor any other time nor place.
I appreciate your kind thoughts and encouraging words :)

Your poem sounds like the moors, or at least the feeling I believe one would have there. The repetition, according to the poetic form, is perfect to give the bleak, sorrowful feeling intended by the poet.
Well done.

This lovely work evokes an image of Scotland, not only due to the title but because of the wording. I really enjoyed it, though it is sad. I can see it sung by a fire in an old castle.

Hi SENYAI,
I have read a few of these poems now and they are growing on me. It is not a form that I am to familiar with but like this one a lot. You have captured that moment of realization in betrayal and the repetitive line just drives home that message even more.
A sad poem but very enjoyable.
