I liked this very much; thank you for sharing it my friend! It's very thought provoking, seeming to express in a lovely way, that everything comes full circle. I enjoyed this read.

Dragonpoet, I don't know if I don't know if I have the right understanding of this poem or not, but I'll give it a try. It seems as though war has taken over peace and is causing chaos between people fighting each other. Then peace takes control conquering war.

G'day Joan. Lovely work and very well said indeed. To tell a story in a little peace (oops...piece) like this takes a lot of skill and you nailed here mate. I think you'll go well in this contest and I wish you the best of luck.
Cheers Fez

The Palendrome is quite a challenge. I am in awe of the form. You have created a thoughtful piece that reads perfectly both forward and backwards. Really well done and good luck in the contest.

I am in awe of the Palindrome and the poets who can write them. IMHO, this is an excellent example of one. I like to try new things, but can't wrap my head around this style. Glad we've got folks like you around to show us how it's done!! If the contest is upcoming, good luck!

Thanks for the review and words of encouragement. I thought the same was about this style as you do. It was hard but not as hard as I thougt it would be.

Wow! This is quite brilliant! I've attempted (and I use that word loosely) this form of poetry only once and failed miserably. You not only did it but made it look easy. Great job on this. Your poem makes such a true and firm point while still flowing beautifully. Good luck in the contest!! xoLeslie

Your piece fits the Palindrome perfectly. Well done. Unfortunately peace cannot last in this fallen world. A picture would have been nice. Good writing.

Thanks for the comments and the high rating, Zeke. I rarely use artwork unless the poem is written about a picture. I let the words create their own picture or idea as they would if they were published it a book.
