Hi jusylee, I liked this chapter and Joe is becoming more human alive although he is the bad guy. I'm enjoying the read and looking forward to what's next. All the best. Ulla:))

Awe. I thought I had read this before today yet either way you have a most entertaining and gifted pen. You keep the reader within that you write as if they are right there as in virtual reality. Awesome.

I missed this earlier - it's been a busy day. I especially like the way your developed Joe in this chapter. He is becoming very human as you show his fears and his emotions

thank you Doug, I feel like I am writing a hundred miles an hour but I want so much for every character to be understood. We are so full of strengths and weaknesses in who we are, That's what I want to find out about these characters.

Its a real treat to see there is one of these to read, I am enjoying your story very much and fascinated to see where you will take me.

You building of character and then watching him evolve and grow is so believable I have to remind myself that he is a murdering psychopath

Small spag 'Faith can change(d) with it."

Look forward to the next x

when I wrote this one I actually started to feel sorry for him too, scared me a little but I think that is true of some bad guys that might have taken a different path. I remember reading the Godfather and realizing I was rooting for the mafia. Don't get me wrong i am not comparing my writing with that masterpiece I just observed how an author can make you actually like the bad guy sometimes.

Well you are certainly managing that ad then some. I have a feeling I am reading something quite special here if you manage to keep it up. I can quite understand Joe but and repulsed by his actions. That is terrific enough on its own but your other characters get the same attention. I wouldn't e surprised if this writing led to publication.

Just one thing. You have two Joe chapters at the end.
Maybe it was intended. This was about the right length for me. I am a poet mostly so all I can tell you is I am enjoying this story very much. You have many interesting characters. Each with their own unique insecurities. Even Delaney. LOL Good Job Judy. Nancy

Thank you so much. Yes I was wondering about that two. Maybe I should insert another one in between since it is two different days.

thank you so much. To be honest with you there is a little bit of history here My mother was excommunicated from the Catholic church in the 40's because she married my Father. You see my father was in world war two. He was married before and when he returned from the war his wife was pregnant with another man's baby so he divorced her. So when my mother wanted to marry my father, my grandmother went to the church and had her excommunicated because she was marrying a divorced man. Complicated story. Without my father I wouldn't be here so I do object to some of their old teachings. I think things are getting better in that faith now. I'm just glad my mother was brave enough to go against her family.

Each of these chapters are very good, You build on their characters and showing us a little more as they grow into and with the story. Very believable and realistic. I enjoyed reading this.
