The sentiment is all good. the red on black also looks good. Perhaps keep the lines similar in size as the meter then will be out. The syllables will be very long on one line then too short on another.
You have also used your senses to describe your feeling which is a good thought.

This is a very nice love poem about a spouse or significant other where the love is ongoing.
