A wonderful poem of rising above the fire darts of the devil thrown at us in life. Gramps I am one of them too. Grandchilren have a way of touching your heart to rise above adversity. Thank you for giving God credit for he has lifted me up even if I m the cause for my fall. All the best and,God Bless

Dr. Nad. This is a super poem making up a portion of your bio, but I laughed as I read that your wife walked out and then you had two children. I thought... hmmm.... that's NOW how it USUALLY works. Was there a second wife in there somewhere? A girlfriend? An adoption agency? HELP! *smile*
Very fun about the loud talking. As I age, I see a lot of that going on around me!!! hahahaha

I wonder if your hearing loss, like mine was due to too many guns going off in your youth, or was it to much of that loud rock and roll that our generation was prone to keep listening. Of course it need not be noise deafness at all and I should mid my own business really, but I recognize bits of this as applying to me.
