Hi there,
So you are an RVer as well. Larry and I are in Mesa, AZ at the writing of this review. No we can't let the rain, or the absence of it get us down. I enjoyed your post.

Thank you .Carolyn, for reviewing my work. Yes, I love RVing. Husband and I have stopped for now due to my poor health. Back problems and knees along with insulin dependent diabetes have got us stalled.

Jody,
This is a great reminder from TWO big brains on how to live our lives wisely and not spend it all on nonsense things. We don't want to get to the end and look back with regrets. Great points. Well done!

Hi Jo,
This was a nice little story that you've written. I generally write poetry, but once in awhile I'll write a story too. Long ago I even wrote two books, but I lost one of them. Such is life I guess.

It's a shame you lost one of the books you wrote. Years ago, when I was about 13 I wrote a play. I still wonder whatever
happened to it. I'm sure it would be a hoot to read now. :o)

I have no idea what happened to mine either. It would be fun to read, I think.

I have to agree with you that we need to start living our dreams instead of just dreaming about what we want to do we need to just get up and start doing. I enjoyed the read and look forward to more. Keep on writing.

Thank you, Misrael, for commenting on my work. Sometimes, I just need to write something to get me off the pity pot and
back into action. This was one of those pieces. :o)

Jo--
You're on a roll here with these. Or could be. Meaning this could be a series of such...meditations. Can I tell how not my dream RVing is? If that is what it is called. How one heads off on that...lonely road on one of those cursed machines we have by the wagon train load up here I don't know. But, maybe you can convince me RV people are not out to ruin that which they purport of love? Go ahead, give it a shot. Maybe get your dander up a bit. Like I say, you may be onto something here, just not from my particular angle.

Aww, Jeff, to each his own. Unfortunately, I have given up the dream of RVing. My knees and back have gone South and I can no longer do the work it involves to camp. But, yes, I did and still do love the outdoors. I was raised camping with my parents with just blankets by a river. Nature has always calmed the voices in my head. :o)

I think there is a different between RVing and ATVing. The latter is what I object to. And what I see are scores of ATVs with people dressed up as if for a gas attack in WWI at the gas station on their way between bars up here. I mean scores of machines. They apparently cannot walk to enjoy the outdoors, they cannot fish, they cannot do anything but ride these gas guzzling machines down roads that rip though the woods. This is mostly because there's no longer enough snow for snow machines since global warming. They make the world look like Mad Max. They care about nothing as far as I can see except hauling their machines up from Chicago and ripping around here where there are no stop lights. Period. To say I hate them is an understatement. But. RVing is a different animal I have some sympathy for. Took me a while to figure this out.
Thanks
Jeff

Must agree with the poet. Living yesterday today always has draw backs, but to live for tomorrow is faith and pleasing unto God. So reach for the stars, who knows, you may grab one. I find no fault with this write. Put on your raincoat.

That was good advice Jo, but yes,
you need to take along a raincoat.
The sun doesn't shine every day
for anybody so be prepared. Well done.

Rainy Day is a very good reminder for those of us who find themselves in a bind. You have first of all, encouraged us to hone the fact that we are responsible for own dreams. You've schooled us in the fact that if it's going to be, it's up to me. Brian did it for you and you are doing it for us, giving us the Notch that will start the impetus toward our dreams. Thanks for sharing. May God bless you!

Dr. Nad, thank you for your kind words and review. My purpose in writing this was first to encourage myself. Putting it
on FS to inspire others.

This was really encouraging. I'm so glad I read this because I sure needed it to help pick me up. Your writing is superb, and I can't see anything that needs improvement besides a couple minor mistypes that can easily be fixed. Amazing job! Have a nice day.
