In my opinion, a strong, emotional work with much promise in its construction - reading it aloud several times will help in smoothing the rhyme and rhythm of this exciting poem - taking advantage of "poetic license" is more than acceptable it's expected...

This is a very powerful and deeply evocative poem. The ideas are eloquently expressed and the reader can empathise with the situation portrayed. The rhyme helps to guide the reader on how the poem should be read and it also gives the poem as sense of pace and anxiety. The use of onomatopoeia and the carefully chosen vocabulary make this an interesting aural experience for the reader, too. Thanks for sharing.
