This was quite cute.
I enjoyed that it wasn't a heavy read for a change.

COURAGE DOES NOT MEAN YOU DO NOT GET AFRAID.
COURAGE MEANS YOU DO NOT LET FEAR STOP YOU.
EVERYONE WANTS TO BE A DIAMOND,
BUT VERY FEW ARE WILLING TO GET CUT.
A DIAMOND IS A CHUNK OF COAL
THAT DID WELL UNDER PRESSURE.
STAND UP FOR WHAT IS RIGHT
EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO STAND UP ALONE
BE THANKFUL FOR WHAT YOUR ARE NOW
AND KEEP FIGHTING FOR WHAT YOU WANT TO BE TOMORROW.
DO NOT GIVE UP JUST BECAUSE OF WHAT SOMEONE SAID.
USE THAT AS MOTIVATION TO PUSH HARDER.
WHEN YOU START SEEING YOUR WORTH,
YOU WILL FIND IT HARD TO STAY
AROUND PEOPLE WHO DO NOT.
IF YOU CAN LOVE THE WRONG PERSON THAT MUCH,
IMAGINE HOW MUCH YOU CAN LOVE THE RIGHT ONE.
THE THREE C'S IN LIFE
CHOICES, CHANCES, CHANGES
YOU MUST MAKE A CHOICE
TO TAKE A CHANCE
OR YOUR LIFE WILL NEVER CHANGE.

This is a well written poem about over indulging in the drinking of beer, but having a good time enjoying life. The poem has as even flow, which is easy and enjoyable to read, I really like the rhyming. Good job, and thanks for sharing.

This entry struck a cord with me. I lived in Houston for fourteen years and visited San Antonio several times. Twice I stopped at the Lone Star brewery. The first time it was still operating. The last time, if I remember right, it had shut down. Still, an interesting place though with a lot of history behind it.

Yes, There is now a culinary school there and lots of wonderful shops. Hope you see it sometime.

That is the trouble with beer, wine, spirits and almost anything you enjoy, it is either illegal, immoral or fattening. So watch out or you could end up in jail, in hell as well as being fat. The poem's pretty good too but it won't slim you down.

Very true, no diet formula. This was a fun, silly challenge of words. Most of it isn't true. but it was fun to write
