Poet,

I had not seen this contest, but you have surely composed
an outstanding entry poem for it. I like your title and your
analogies of planet Earth being a ship and voyager through
space...an arc.

"Respect this wondrous ark we hold so dear;
Though ours for now, 'tis simply held in trust."

Those above lines are beautiful and serve
as a great reminder that we don't own her...

This is an incredible entry and a sure winner...
I'm guessing.

Acrostic poems aren't so simple, but you make it seem effortless. Well thought out and nicely written. I'm not sure how to feel about space being ecofriendly. It is expensive, uses fuel and makes pollution. It would be beautiful though.... Great storytelling skills. Nice work.

This poem has lofty language and high hopes that peace on earth is attainable. Acrostics can be tricky because the word choice is limited but you have created a visual and emotional work that is very appropriate for Earth Day.
