This is such an emotional piece of poetry. I only hope you find comfort in the best of memories and hold tight to those. We all are only here for a little while before we journey onward. Your well written words remind us to cherish those we love. Best of you in the contest.

Take care,
Senyai

This is an absolutely gorgeous poem inviting the reader to savor the brilliance of a search for a wealth of experience in a rainbow contrasted to the fears and experience with life of a child rounding his growth into an adult. My only regret is that I am out of sixes. I am sorry for your loss. Good luck in the contest.

It is so true you can only see and find the gold at the end of the rainbow after the wildest storms have passed away, when the sun starts to shine again.

After an opening that is stark and brutal, a tale of storms, the rainbow appears and is analysed as the bow of forgiveness with a new life awaiting at its end that is the true pot of gold even if it is not the sort you can pay into the bank.

Lovely descriptive free verse here.

very good, nicely done, sometimes I think the rainbow is a sign from God saying he's sorry for the storms destruction it brings, Like look at the beauty I just gave you.

Life's trials and tribulations - its pains and sufferings finally ending with joy have been imaginatively likened to the appearance of rainbow after a storm. I liked the way you have built the nice imagery of the seven colors of rainbow showing up one after another.

This poem brought a tear to my eye and takes me back to my childhood. Forgiving someone is more for the victim and you were both victims. Hate destroys one, I speak from experience. Thank you for sharing.

I usually don't let life get to me, but the poem my son wrote was so beautiful and painful and it sent me back to those times. You said you speak from experience and that scares me. I hope you have also healed. Life is wonderful now, but every now and then I fall back into that chasm and have to fight my way back up. thank you so much for listening.
