Hi Missy

A fun challenge you and Mark prompted here. I have yet to read Fastdigits, quite an array from everyone's differing POV. You have the romantic approach and someone taking a chance on love ... so pleased it has the happy ending. :)) Not always the case, and I guess we've all heard all the stories, from the quirky, to the unpleasant and down-right dangerous. Your romance leading to that first meet was fabulous. Amazing presentation, great artwork. Well done. Warm regards - Lovinia xoxo

Yes, some scumbags are out there lurking for a tender soul to happen along. So, caution is the name of the game :)
Love this review and please bounce on over and give Fastdigits a read...his is filled with romance :)

Missy, this was a really good take on the challenge. I don't know about the cyber dating, too clinical for my liking but of course no strings and sooooo detached and all that. Well done. All the best. Ulla:)))

Ulla, hon, thank you for taking the time to leave this review and your thoughts on the subject. We will have to do a challenge...Free Verse or Acrostic...all the fancy ones I don't understand.

    Hugs,
    Missy

I can understand doing this if you are away from your loved one for a while. I don't understand why some want to hide behind a computer screen. You have no idea who you are talking to and if anything is true. But, to each his own. I thought your poem and artwork were great! You did a good job with this challenge.

Oh yes, Mel, scumbags are always lurking. Either to take advantage of or to do harm.
    Caution

CAUTION is the name of the game!!
    Thanks, hon, for this R&R.

Great job on your poem, Missy. The anticipation of meeting a lover only known on the internet is scary and exciting. In your case, the meeting was so much more than expected. Marilyn

Love that animated graphic, Missy. That's pretty awesome.

As for the poem, the "real thing" is sometimes a big let-down. But there are other times when you might be pleasantly surprised, and you bite off a lot more than you can chew...but in a good way, of course. He might be everything you imgined he'd be, and soooooo much more.
Thing is, very few have the balls enough to find out.

I find that kinda sad...

Good stuff as usual, Missy!

Except when it comes to sheep, Missy. I really do suffer from Ovinophobia, or the irrational fear of sheep. That's one of the reasons I have so much trouble getting to sleep. What the hell do you count when you can't count sheep, fer chrissakes?
    Now you know my Kryptonite...

    LOL...

That is the first hurdle over. So often, I imagine, the real thing is a pale image of the ideas built up in your mind. But that is only the first thing. Nice work if it works but he could be a wolf in that handsome prince's clothing.

Thisis a compelling piece of free verse - exciting.

Hello, Missy :) zeros and ones, very clever double meaning. I like your poem, Missy, it is very romantic and you end on a very positive note. Do you have someone in mind? lol I like your artwork but it's part of all your work- awesome presentations. Good job, Missy girl.

You mentioned all the authors you asked but is this a list of all the authors that contributed a poem?

This is a witty, exciting poem of the anticipation of a cyber date. I guess the subject is sort of interesting, but at the same time, it is also "old hat". There is nothing "real" exciting anymore about the idea of "cyber dating" Good write. Have a happy day! Tony

Hi, Tony, thanks for giving this ol gal a bit of your evening :)
You are mistaken, in my humble opinion, to consider cyber love, "old hat". It can be as real and as fulfilling as you want to make it!! Trust me on this :)

I've read a couple of these now. That is a funny challenge, and I love how different everyone's response to the challenge has been. Good for those who can find love on the internet in cyber-space! I fell in love back in the times before we had the choice to find it on the internet. Oh, how times have changed in not so long a time.
