Great I love these sort of stories, as they show love never dies and we are all players in a much bigger picture, and far more meaningful and exciting, than the one limited to the objective limits of our senses. I think if the love, wisdom and real Christ connectivity in these supernatural and life empowering experiences were co-related and developed, we would transcend much more quickly and graciously into humanity from the inevitable tragic decline of mankind.

Well done, and thanks so much for sharing; although I think a larger, and different colour font would have made it the six-star that I would have loved to give.

Blessings, Maureen*&*

Your choice of artwork and color background completed the poem well. Your words were heartfelt and emotional and conveyed the message of the importance of your mother to the reader.

Judy, your poem about your mom pulled at my heartstrings. My mom went home to be with the Lord about 4 years ago. What I would do to hear her voice again.

Very nice and very sad with a message of good advice. What a sad day but what a lovely thought about her gaining independence from an ailing body. Thanks for sharing.

Your picture is fantastic really capturing a moment. I lost my mum, six years ago she was 49, we used to talk daily on the phone, so I always say the same ring your mum.
well written, with a lovely message.

I am sorry for your loss and sympathize with your heartfelt write. It's funny, I have one elderly (in her 90s) aunt left who means a lot to me and I don't erase her voicemail messages because I keep thinking that I want to be able to hear her voice when she's gone, so I completely understand this.

Best wishes,
Lena

Lovely picture. I lost my sixteen year old daughter as she was killed in a car wreck on that holiday. We both experienced great loss. That loss has brought you and I together as friends. I bet your mom and my Amie are up there smiling while we have become friends right here. Splendid writing dear.

This is a powerful and moving statement of a daughter's love for her mother and the sense of loss. It's beauty and power comes from the directness of the way in which the events are told. This narrative is given additional force by the thoughtful line division, such as in

And I know
she heard me.

You can almost hear the emotion of the speaker in the pause after 'know'. I liked also the informal quality of the language, such as the repetition of 'and' to join ideas. It establishes an intimacy with the reader and draws him/her in.

It sometimes seems wrong to review poem which are so personal and I hope you don't mind, but as well as having great personal significance for you the writer, this is also a well-written poem, to which we can relate if we have lost someone equally dear to us. Nigel.

A very well write, heart warming, insightful tale of your late mother. I enjoy sentimentality; I have no problem with that. A very well written poem. Have a happy day! Tony
