The last Stanza doesn't bode well for caution and distinction between friend and new romance.

Did just the idea touch you recently? or did you step dangerously close recently? Hmmmm.

Good job with the poem, though, Missy. Keep mingling. Someone will show up in our group. And He or She will know what's up.

This is beyond fantastic. How amazing and creative. This picture included should be a plaque and sold in stores or for purchase. I would make the font a tad bigger it is border line small for these old eyes. Xo

I love that you kept this simple. . .the bare bones

and really all that matters -

Where passion meets a friend
Confusion ensues

Do you dare
Pursue?

Is it worth the risk of losing a friend
if passion smolders instead of roars?

I suspect many of us have faced this dilemma!
Myself - I crossed the line and paid a dear price.
Once burned - I never ventured there again.
The cost was way too high.

Hey there you ((((((((... all in for love, eh?

Your first three lines are so complete with their incompleteness... yes, that may sound a tad strange... but the complete element is the complete truth... and the incompleteness is the lack of resolution... don't want to nitpick but the capitals on each line? Hmmmmmmm? Smile)))))))))).

So the hearts wants what the heart wants... hmmmmm... sounds so uncomplicated, so achievable... and hey... it takes two to tango... if indeed both parties are coming from the same heart and head space... and your conclusion? Rolling the dice for love... yeah, the pursuit of love is worth every heartache... you go girl!

Well, as you may have gathered over the time, I am a bit of a sap when it comes to poetry of the heart... there's something so simplistic within your language that connects the reader (yes, me and I suspect others) to the intent and feeling of this sentiment... one of those poems you do that just lingers in the middle of the air.

With our thoughts we create,
a breath between doubt,
a line before confusion
and a leap of faith into the unknown,
James vx's.

Hello--
The heart usually always leads. The arrangement of your poem is creative and the words are expressive. I so enjoyed this poem a lot. I think you did an outstanding job with this piece. The art image perfectly compliments the poetic messages.

Wishing you well-
Bill

This is a lovely presentation--your artwork, the dark background, and the off set stanzas of the poem. Well planned! I enjoyed reading this, thanks for sharing. Chris

This is a great presentation--the color scheme, the artwork, and the arrangement of lines. I like how you offset them. Your lines flow well and tell an interesting story. Too many often get caught up in the passion of love without it being 'real' love. Good job and thanks for sharing.

I must admit that, I could have regretted it many times, but instead, learned to savor the friendships that became companions with benefits. I mean, why not console what we struggle to control, sharing a little of something so sweet, that the memories will last a lifetime. Every hit doesn't have to be a homer, many times it's just a bonus for both parties to get on base. Thanks for another fine poem and picture combination. Great job. :-)

This free verse would be debated by those of old, who knew that arranged marriages that led to strong social position really worked in the end. But still, give me liberty to be as big a fool as I want, or give me...
