Excellent

This is a book about fighting the times and becoming your best man despite what others say. It shows how good can be spread through generations. Learning is the key.
I like how the line breaks emphasize the meaning and emotion of the poem.

I wish it was true, it was inspired by the contest picture and it was so much fun to write. Thank you . I wrote it from the prompt where they send you a picture then judged it .

A smile and a happy tear, best awards that you as a writer can claim you did, give your reader something to smile and relate to.
Beautiful story/free verse, creative and powerful. Unbelievably touching, I really did shed a tear at the end.

Okay. I got goose bumps! Perhaps because there was an "Old Jimmy" in my life when I was young. Not at the same level, but someone I admired and listened despite my family having little respect for this precious woman. She not only taught me her superstitions but also her deep ability to love. Thanks for bringing up a sweet memory for me!
