Love your poem, down to earth. Just as if we are having tea. what a wonderful job. Rewarding, but at times may be draining, especially having to come home to 3 kids who miss their mommy all at the same time. lol You will definitely be losing some weight over this.

Hello Debra;
-a simple poem establishing how well you love your work and how after being off for a certain amount of time and going back to and fresh you realize how much you enjoy your job.
-picture looks like it's very appropriate and relative to the concept and theme of your writing.
- very well done rhyming couplets for each of your rhyming words were contingent and supported to the meaning and concept of each of your lines therefore making your reading the flow smoothly.
- rhythmic meter, tempo and timing was also helpful in making the reading clear, fluid and easy.

Re - your notes, Debs, you must get a great deal off satisfaction from your very commendable and worthwhile job, even though it must be very hard work at times.

Hey, when you get home, your own kids must appear like angels, compared. ;-)

OK- I'm a fan so I get a notice every time you post a new piece. Don't rush into doing something just to get it done, but when you write another piece I'd like to take it apart a bit more than I've done up till now. Nothing I will say is written in stone- there are no rules- art is self expression- you have chosen words as your medium.
I would like you to get a small cheap pad of paper- one that you can carry around with you at all times. Keep a pencil or pen with it. Put it in a pocket not in your purse with everything else is where it might be forgotten about. I find Moleskine makes the best and they come in varying sizes. Make sure it's small.
All day long you talk to yourself. So does everybody else so you're not going to be thought of as going crazy. When you have a quiet moment where you're not dwell on some other problem take a word any word like" lake" now pare it with another word you think- wouldn't normally- match. Like say- druid- and put them together. So now we have "druid lake". Most won't work but once in a while you'll find a couple that you like together for whatever reason, and they might seem stupid together but for one second there you liked them. Write them down!
Go on and do some more- after a week or so you might have five or six or thirty who knows, but what is important is that you have a record of those combinations in you booklet. After a while you'll find yourself doing this more and more, good! I find a particularly fruitful time for me is just as I'm going to bed.
Lets start by doing some of this. OK?
But only if you want to- and if you forget or don't have time that's alright too. I'm not going to ask you to share them with me so they can be however silly or far reaching as you want- you're going to start practicing your art with something more than an idea.
