It's an intractable problem. There seems no solution. The format of the Minute poem is just right for expressing your feelings about it, with the short sharp lines being so evocative.

I so agree with your poem and the picture. Imaging actually asking your child to live you so that they can have a better life. That goes against every instinct as a parent. I wish I had answers.
