Nothing like arriving late to your own wedding to make the groom wonder if he's been jilted at the alter. At least they can laugh about it in the years to come. Whew! Good luck in the contest.

Dear Mystery Writer,
You did a great job with less than 60 words. You have told a full story, beginning, middle and end. Not as easy as some would think. The words have to be carefully chosen or the reader is left hanging. Good job.
Best of luck in the contest.

Thanks for the encouraging review. I thought it was 100 words, then had to cut the story by half. Cheers, j

Hi there,
Bringing this in just under the required word limit, you did a good job with a pretty difficult prompt. Poor bride.
Good luck in the competition.

A perfect story for a 60 word dash. The action starts line 1 and keeps your guessing till the moment of the wedding is revealed. I found myself going back and checking the clues. When you know why Jenna's late, it all falls into place. You told us everything by leaving plot breadcrumbs throughout. Cleverly done. Best of luck.
