This is a great presentation. I like the perfect artwork paired with your great, meaningful words.

The arrangement of lines makes the reader slow down in their reading and think about what was read.

You certainly have a point. I suppose we soon get used to ourselves and we don't see it like that any more. I think they call it lost innocence. Everything we see and do is somehow coloured by the opinions of others. I don't think there is any way around it. Perhaps we should try to find one.

I enjoyed this well written and well presented poem. It gets you thinking is there a time that you never are judged. It's really difficult to find one. A great free verse poetry entry, good look in the contest.

I so hope you find in the night dreams of who you are and will become. You have touched me so much. I have been so sad since I lost my step son and my best friend Krissie. I never trusted anyone with my writings but Krissie. She was a teacher at the school I teach choir at in San Antonio. And she would ask me to just write and tell me "I will edit it later: just write. and so I did
and now you all are my new ears and my tears are starting to cleanse not hurt.

This is a beautiful poem, I just read through it twice. It's hard to pick a favorite section, because so much of it is wonderful - but it might be the final section, where the mother and baby look into each others' eyes.
"who are you

differently
on this day(?)" - just wonderful - and decidedly food for thought!
