With me it was always my Brussels sprouts, I can remember nearly gagging on them, but mum wouldn't give me desert until I did eat them. I'm good now, I always eat my veggies, training sure lasts.. Well done, Debra, beautifully even and nicely timed and worded, skilfully rendered, blessings, Roy

This poem is adorable and amusing, Debra. Loved it (especially "roly-polied"). Good rhyming and cadence. Playful presentation works well with topic. Your piece reminds me of a similar incident with my kids. When my husband told them they had to eat their peas--they shoved them underneath their mashed potatoes. For some reason he didn't mind they didn't eat their potatoes. When cleaning off the plates, I discovered where they hid the peas. Marilyn
