A very well written prologue Marijke. Well we are on one line. Don't judge people too soon.
There is almost always a reason for their behavior. Illness, backgrounds,homelessness, are some of those reasons. I always ask my self how would I feel and what would I do in their situation... I look forward to your poems my dear friend. Fietje xxxxxxxxx

So do I! ...look forward to my poem. I hope I haven't become too optomistic! It is rather daunting. Lots of ideas in my head... but they need to flow onto paper, so to speak. But I will give it try! Thanks Mel, but don't congratulate me too soon... I still have to succeed in this venture... it is a bit daunting! But I will give it a go. I enjoyed your prologue for the April challenge. Your words and picture pair nicely together. Your philosophy will allow for many different experiences for you to enjoy and/or write about. Good job on the flow of lines, too.

Looks to be a fascinating and rewarding project for you and your readers as well. There is something about putting yourself behind the eyes of others that is life-altering and growth-inducing. With different viewpoints come different words and new turns of phrase that broaden the scope of your writing. I wish you well on the adventure.

This is a good brief prologue, signaling that your poetry is not a place but a journey, with companions of many stripes, and therefore can be seen as a continuing conversation with life and community. Best of luck.
