Hi Roy,

A great piece here for this Easter weekend, but for the rest of the year too. too often society is blinded by selfishness. Love and understanding; tolerance and forgiveness; it may be hard but should be striven for.

A thought provoking and moving piece.

Well written poem that leaves no doubt about what Easter's true meaning is.

It is not about an Easter Bunny, coloring eggs, or candy.

What we were given on Easter is so much better than all of those other things combined could ever possibly be.

More people need to remember what the real meaning of Easter is.

Would certainly make this world a much better place.

As I once wrote Christian lyrics about "Cast your vote for Jesus. Keep your eyes on Calvary".

And, everything else will take care of itself.

Should be a good contest entry.

This is a great poem for Easter and anytime of year because of its eternal message of God's love and Jesus' sacrifice. Your poem is well-structured and rhymed but what stood out were the faith and sincerity of your message. Your poem calls for humility instead of selfishness. This is important to remember. This deserves ****** stars but we get so few.
The poem focus One who gave Their love to us.
The poem story line development: Jesus wants us to turn the other cheek and a gentle word can stop rage. Love will walk an extra mile, love only wants to give. God is love, revealed in Christ who came to save us all. He gave Himself to face that cross, my ransoms price was met.
The rhyming is an ab.
The emotion felt love, joy and peace.
Good luck with the contest.
