Awww, that is so sweet! I'm glad you're reading, though I know they are out of your genre!
Hope all is well,
Love you,
Rhonda

So sorry I got terribly behind in your story. I see Nancy is still reluctant to share her stories. Wonder what made her so skittish? I cringed when I read about the tee-shirts. So tacky! Poor Nancy.
Hope you're doing well this Easter Sunday. How goes your healing?

Yeah, poor Nancy is getting terribly set up...just think Alejandro here. Not everything is as it seems. Once more, thanks so much for reading. You're a dear!

Okay Rhonda, I can see it starting up.
You got it all set up nicely. The memories and the future volunteers. And possibly a past participant? Or at least a strong supporter--a well as a, maybe not a villain, at least a contrarian. I love the name--Mrs. Dreary. how appropriate.

Thank you so much, Jimmy. Yeah, gotta have at least one bad guy. Problem for them is, she will be the least of their worries! Thanks for the comments, my friend,
Rhonda

-Very nice artwork.
-Another well written chapter, building up to the big assembly. I enjoyed it and like the series; I have a feeling a lot is going to happen!
-This time we meet a number of the teens who are supporting Nancy, learn they have been assigned jobs for the assembly, and even the principal is in on the whole thing by buying special t-shirts.
-Billy sounds like a neat guy, as he insisted on his own special t-shirt for a guy, as he was not going to wear pink and burgundy.
-It sounds like this small group has been given a lot of responsibility by Mrs. Pierson, and it seems like they are up for the task.
-One teacher is really not in favor of the whole thing, but there is always at least one!
-Hopefully, the assembly will go as well as all of this preparation, but you never know!

Yeah, the assembly will certainly go...maybe not entirely where expected...but it will go!
Billy is great, and will be a strong character, very independent minded, as you can tell.
Thanks for the very detailed review, as always, I appreciate your support and opinnion,
Rhonda

Thanks for your comments. I did like Billy, even though we saw him briefly. You are very welcome for the review and it means a lot that it is appreciated.

Another fine chapter in the tale of the Daredevils
we get to meet the cast of characters
or at least the new cast of characters
the Daredevil girl (and one guy) supporters
It looks like events are pushing Nancy forward
whether she likes it or not
and there needs to be a grouch, Mrs Dreary, well named
and a cheerleader, Mrs Pierson, also her boss and principal
The scene is being well set
looking forward to the next chapter

Thank you so much. I hope to pull the boys into it as well. The idea of girls came from my father, who used to tell Daredevil Girl stories to my sister and I as children. He only had girls or I"m sure he would have put boys in it, too. Thank you so much for reading and following the stories,
Rhonda

Your story is progressing so well Rhonda, the new supporters are almost identical to the original, (by the by, where are the the other old members, Rhonda?) it's captured the imagination of the press, Mrs. Pierson has had T-shirts made for the group, including her and Nancy. Lovely story, light, well planned and very intuitive and perceptive, well done, blessings, Roy

I'm really surprised to see how big an occasion this first storytelling is turning out to be. Looks like the Daredevil Girls from Bunker Hill is going to be up and running very soon. I wonder what their first challenge will be. Great chapter, Rhonda.
eight paragraphs before the end: plaintitive should be plaintive.

Thank you so much for your review, and the spelling issue, both helpful!

Comment from Jim Lorson Sr
This Rhonda, I believe is the best chapter so far. You tell the readers about Nancy feeling very nervous about not only these overanxious media, but also the assembly after lunch.
I now understand what each crew member job is and the enthusiasm of Billy. It seems to me that this chapter is the catalyst for the following chapters of your story. I will be reading each and every one of them until the finale. Great work with the dialogue of each character, which to me, is very important to keep the reader reading.
Very well done my friend,
Jim

Thank you so much, Jim. What I found useful this time was reading the story from the "post" rather than editing page and found it, strangely, easier to pick up grammar and flow mistakes. Funny! Thanks so much for your comments. The feedback was great!

Hi Rhonda, are y'all floating away in your part of Texas? AR is soaking wet.
Great continuation of your story line. There's at least one Miss Dreary (love the name) in every school. lol
Hugs,
Karen

We're pretty wet here, that's for sure. And we got it all at once.
Thanks for your comments, and I have to agree on Miss Dreary. As you said, at least one. I can tell the teachers in our group! And back to work for me tomorrow. Whew!
Hugs back,
Rhonda
