Oh my goodness this is absolutely the best piece today.
You held my interest in the story from the beginning to the end.
A crime that defies all reason. I love the way you personalized it and made us part of it. Why did I never hear of the dog? Darn, that is the most horrendous part...I am an animal lover

Thank you so much, Barb. The news came on with the story yesterday and my mind and memories ran with it. The dog was a big piece for me. If not for Kato the dog leading the neighbors to the scene, it would have been the very young Simpson children upstairs asleep who would have likely been the ones to find their mother the next morning. Thank you so much for your review and rating, Barb!

You've done well in bringing back those moments of memories we were all left with at the time of this incredible murder trial and how it all played out. You show us that even though new evidence may have been found, and even if it is a missing link, it does nothing to the criminal in this case. You are right though, if it comes about that it is a 'real' missing link, they at least maybe one of the questions asked all these years will have been answered. Good write.

Interesting take on an unsolved murder. DNA has come a long way, but after all the years, what can it really reveal? Yes, the families need peace and closure. My sister's son was murder twenty years ago. It is unsolved and she needs the closure. Thanks for sharing more about this unsolved murder.

Thank you very much, Joyce, for your review and rating. Hopefully some peace for the survivors, if nothing else. And to clarify for Nichole's children if there is any doubt, that their father murdered her while they slept. Had it not been for the dog, it is likely they would have been the ones to find their mother the next morning.

A very good write and yes nothing can happen to now even if he shouted it from the roof tops. Great job on this and have a wonderful day.

This is a very intersting poem on OJ, Mary. You did this pretty well with good flow and rhyme. You have to hope the truth finally comes out

Thank you, Doug. Just when you think a bizarre case couldn't get any more crazy, it does.

Thank you so much for your review and rating. That crime still strikes a chord with me that so many supported that SOB and one of the families is now famous as a result of their dead father's association with the killer and the trial. Amazing how horror's for some become the catapult for the undeserving.

I will do that! Hey, I just noticed you are from Ireland???!!! My maternal grandparents immigrated during the famine. Nora from Eyeries on the Beara Peninsula and James Harrington from the Ring of Kerry! Fascinating! I love my Irish heritage :) You have a new follower :)

You've brought it all back to me with your fine write, Mary! It was an awful thing, and a trial that every eyes in the country(ies) glued to the TV to watch it.

Yes, hopefully the families of the two deceased will at least have some peace of mind. I saw on TV recently that they will be making a TV movie about the OJ case. The families of the deceased were interviewed and they are quite upset about the making of this movie.

Loved ... "a Gold-man" ... clever girl!!

Excellent, Mary!

Amazing how horror's for some become the catapult for the sooooooo undeserving. Just a lucky fluke that he's in prison for a far less worthy crime, but it works for me!
