A very beautiful and I'm sure fitting tribute to someone who has meant a great deal in your life. How wonderful to know that someone is remembered in this manner, especially in a way that they taught by word and example. Loren

Yes, I miss Brooke so much and miss reading her poems. Love your ABC form dedicated to one of our favorite poets. Poems that made my heart sing is a line that shows how Brooke's poetry impacted all of us.

It is a great sadness in our lives that Brooke has not returned although for a short time I thought she had returned. Last year seemed a bad year for poets. Several passed away. Maureen Napier and Artemis disappeared. Mysterious and disheartening.

Brooke will never return Alan, she is in a nursing home suffering aggressive MS. At least she is with her family now. Love, Kay XX

Aussie,
Funny you should mention Brooke. Some of us have been working on cataloging her poems to get ready to publish some books for her. (It's QUITE a job~!
--sigh--) I just spent all day yesterday organizing the 'c's in her list and it gives me such great pleasure to read her work again!
Thanks for sharing!!

I loved the image that you used with this poem. You clearly and intelligently follow the ABC poem pattern. The reader can fully empathise with the sentiments expressed as we all have a teacher that has been essential in our development. Perhaps you could look at adding some punctuation at the end of each line in order to give the reader some more direction in how you would like the poem to be read.

Thanks so much for reading and I don't think ABC calls for punctuation, I will have a look. Blessings, K.
