Beautifully written poem. Great narration. Good flow of rhythm and rhymes. Focused and still creative, which isn't so simple for religious/spiritual poem. You followed a poetic format that works together very well for storytelling. Nice work.

Somehow I missed reading this beautiful and well done poem of faith, which I appreciate. Form and content, as well as all poem are excellent, especially the last stanza and these lines:
"Along the path you choose to tread,
if you will come and follow me,
I'll take from you your darkest dread,
if you will hear and you will see."

Debi,

Your Rondeau redouble is very impressive and
your message is beautifully and poetically conveyed.
"My gospel conquers misery
and makes a joyful heart instead.
Receive this gift of charity,
accept from me the broken bread."

I like how you reminded readers that "if" we listen
and follow we will have "clarity" and the gift of
eternity. Your ending stanza is very powerful.
This poem is uplifting, hopeful and I also like how
it is invitational.

Lovely,
Linda

I love the way rondeaus come full circle. This poem emphasizes the symbolic bread we share in communion as a means to remind us of his sacrifice. I like the use of first person in this--our Savior speaks with words so kind.

You have written a brilliant, inspirational poem about the power of God's grace for all of us. And, yes, you selected an excellent illustration. I especially like the concept you poetically described regarding true perspective.
I cannot find any corrections.
Well done.

I did not have a six or this would have been given it. Your rondeau redouble is perfect. The poem itself contains God's message to all of us and today reading this it gave me comfort and hope. We stray from Him and His commandments, yet He is waiting for us. Thanking Him for sending His Son. Thank you for sharing this with me. Blessings. Kat

Beautiful artwork and poem. The truth sure does set us free. Great imagery, especially taking His hand and walking with Him. Bright hope has won the victory - favorite line.
