I enjoyed this theme of mercy :) Lovely author notes about the seven mercies. I didn't know that before. We try to do those things, except visiting prisons.
Lovely poem that gets the heart in the right place and formulates plans in my mind of how I can participate too.
"his (advise) is hard work" - should this be advice?
Best wishes in the contest.

This poem shows some unsung heroes which people forgot. The elderly won us a war but are the first ones to be forgotten. We as a society have got to learn to look after the weak and sick but when the government can't be bothered... Good luck in the contest and thank you for sharing.

A very good message that we don't have to make a big splash to do helpful and merciful things.
I like the line "the importance of small." It carries a big impact.
Good job.

Amen. Every detail you penned were excellent examples of mercy. God showed Hus mercy through His Son. We should let that mercy shine through us. Thanks for sharing. God bless.

A great inspiration to everyone to have mercy on others and a few ways how we could spread mercy to others who might need a little help.

Mercy has no price, but some find it very hard to give to those in need. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a good read.

I think that we need to see more spiritual poetry like yours on this website. It is obvious that you spent a lot of time on this work. Good use of rhyme that isn't forced.

LOVE THIS POEM. NOW this is what all People who call themselves Christians need to be doing regularly--helping the less fortunate. So me people homeless nit their fault. They lost jobs or significant workers with income and lost homes and couldn't find another good paying job. The Bible states "Faith without works is dead." So true! liberty justice

Hello, I'm not really the spiritual type, but I can see this poem transcends religion and gets down to the basic human element. Which I guess is a spiritual thing in its own right.
And you seem to go down this list of unsung heroes to establish the importance of their unselfishness, and the value this provides to humanity.
Yes, this poem stayed down to earth on this subject, which is hard to do. It's easy to get too flowery about love and peace and helping mankind, etc., but this was more real.
