Excellent

-Good beginning for the poem with the alliteration of S.
-The alliteration is also used effectively throughout the poem.
-This is a very good poem about the homeless and their situation.
-The imagery relates to the snow but also what happens to the homeless.
-It is an unfortunate situation.
-The conclusion is powerful, as the snow is brushed away:
"the residue of sidewalk slush,
assaulting grime
with tears."
