Good continuing chapter, Barbara. Good to see that Soni is coming around where Jim is concerned.

I see, finally Soni has a bit of a confession to make to Jim, since her grandfather pointed out exactly what was bugging her. In his wisdom, he was able to read between the lines, and knew exactly why Soni always responds to Jim the way she does. Now they are both headed after these ruthless men, and who knows what trouble they are going to encounter.
Another interesting chapter ending with a hook to keep the reader returning.

More excellent work. I think it's logical that Jim would want to want for Soni's apology until after they catch the guys who've been causing Soni so much trouble. The dogs are amazing, the way they led the dogs. Kuruk's return is unexpected; he took a cab from the hospital. His advice to Soni is that maybe she's hostile toward Jim because she cares too much. He tells her to follow her heart. Funny about Mack's skunk smell disappearing. Maybe Kuruk could make that happen. Lots of excitement, and the tension between Soni and Jim is still high. Wanting to apologize is a good sign on Soni's part. judi
