The thrill continues. Another interesting installment moves this story forward. Eagerly anticipating more. Well done.

Hi Barbara,
I think this all looks fine. Glad to see Soni softening up a bit, thanks to Grandfather's advice. I liked Jim's response when she tries to apologize. I didnt understand the 9 to 1 ratio but I am terribke st math. lol

LOL Thank you for the kind review. There are now 9 bad guys against only Soni and Jim.

I like the ending of the last post, it was romantic and so like a man, to show rather than tell a women how he feels. I also like the connection between Soni and her grandfather and how she uses him to rationalize her own feelings.

Hi Barbara,
All sounds good to me. Very good technically, I saw no errors or any suggestions for alterations in the main body.
Should it be Grandfather in the description line?
I really enjoy this story.

Ah, Soni's eating a little crow and Jim's forgiving. I think I sense romance around the corner.
Gently hitting her forehead on the saddle's horn, [Barbara, would you kindly tell me how Soni, sitting in her saddle, can hit her forehead on the saddle's horn? I've been trying to figure that out and just can't summon up an image for it.]

Maybe I need to work on that. I want to show her frustration. Maybe I need to come up with something different. Any ideas? Thank you for the kind review.

Great job on this chapter. Finally Soni admits she cares for Jim/Jacob. :)
You're looking for a fault so you won't care so much. <-- verrrry profound line!
She rubbed both dog's necks. <-- dogs' necks, with apostrophe AFTER the S since DOGS is plural.
"Nine to one, I like those odds." <-- Are there nine of the enemy or eighteen? If nine, then it's nine to TWO...Soni and Jim both.

Hi Barbara:)
It seems like Soni was trained to be independent in all ways, but romance. Now her grandfather seems to be leading her toward opening her feelings toward Jim.
Great internal dialogue with the old chief an medicine who still advises and protects.
I think nine to one odds would make Jim lead her away from danger.
Love and Irish Hugs for this interesting SPAG-free chapter.

The ending for last post sounded fine to me. We are getting to the pointy end of the romance now and I like the way it is going. I fear there will be more conflict with the crooks before we are finished. You have a fine ending, Giddy

Hi, Barb
= Change -- change -- change-- name of the writing rat race game!
= I'm glad I'm not alone! LOL
= Nicely written chapter, slowly getting these two lovebirds together, and the case wrapping up -- with all the good guys unscathed!! (*<*)
* Cheers & Blessings *

Oh, boy, let's hope that it is not an ambush that they are heading towards.
This is another well-written chapter, Barbara. Soni is maturing and realising her own feelings and values.
