What an amazing story, Ulla. Your happiness at connecting with your mother literally leaps off the page. Now the business with finding your real father. I still shake my head at the audacity of your Grandmother to interfere so terribly in your lives. Again, thanks for sharing your life's story with us. It's very interesting and heart warming.

Thank you so much, Marietta for this great review. I know, my Grandmother did a bad deed but nothing could change that. And as you say. My father next. More to follow soon. Thanks again for following my story. Are we soon to hear from my favourite ghost Alejandro? I hope so. I do miss him. All best. Ulla:))

As I have said in previous reviews of this story, you have incredible strength. Your story really comes across as an emotionally honest account. Your writing really draws the reader in. Thanks for sharing.

I haven't been on in a while and am so glad you continued with this story. I am so glad you found your mom and the two of you hit it off so well. To finally get some answers about your father had to be so overwhelming, yet satisfying to a degree. Once gain I look forward to seeing what's next.

This episode has a lot of happiness. You've found your mum and discovered a bond and now facing a bitter sweet parting. You express these all very well. At the same time, I was wanting for an element of tension or suspense to go along with the sweetness. Maybe some sense that something is being held back, or some bit of mystery about your biological father--maybe just a hint or some foreshadowing of emotional danger. Keep up the good work! Best regards, BobFox

Robert, I am sorry that I answer you so late. But it is quite deliberate because I really do think a lot about what you are saying. I am learning a lot from you, and I do hope it shows in every new chapter I write that I am incorporating or at least trying to use what you are teaching me. Thanks a lot. And I am looking out for you next review. All the best. Ulla

Hello Ulla,
Nice piece of Biographical Non-Fiction beautifully depicting its theme!
Wording is simple as well as impressive.
Smooth, spontaneous and captivating flow from the beginning to the end.
The last two paragraphs are particularly noteworthy.

Please see 3rd sentence under Part Twenty One: .........this house 'is already sold or has already been sold,' ............ I think so.
On the whole, lovely and interesting!

Hi Ulla, I had a lump in my throat after reading your lovely words, I am overjoyed that in les than 5 days tyou had discovered a whole new life, but surely - this is only 50% of the story, you need to cover your Fathers side too if at all possible.
Wonderful, wonderful story my friend.

A wonderful story of loss and recovery. Now..I want to know Dad's story, too. You do a very good job of holding the reader's attention and emotions. People will love this book! Adopted children will find answers to their own inner feelings. I tried to help a young girl find her mom. She found her on her own. My mother has always been my best friend and cheerleader. Great description of the quest.

Every chapter winds the spring tighter. Now, in only five days, and these few chapters, I have watched you and your mother go from meeting to attached at the hip. It's a wonderful journey, and I thank you for sharing your enjoyable story. :-)

Life can change so quickly. I hope you got some information about your father, though, so that you could follow up on him as well.

-Why not just sell it?" I laughed.

"Mum, when you say it will be shipped - same person speaking, so no new paragraph.

-I nodded, and did my best, to hide a smile as Mum continued. - delete both commas

-tell them where I want my furniture to be. - cut 'to be'

-different from the one that drove up the other way a few days earlier. - had driven

You've described your emotions very well. It was easy to feel them with you. :)
