So many people got wound up in the politics of this. What drove the verse was the only rhyme that flowed well with two rhyming words together wing and king so I developed the verse around "right wing king" I thought it would be fun to let people pick who. a lot of folks guessed -- problem is I have no answer. Just a bit of fun

Excellent rhymes, and you're obviously referring to Donald of the straw hair, who is getting more than his fair share of publicity, even on 'fanstory' with so many (usually derogatory) remarks/writes about him.

However, with respect, I don't see this poem saying anything apart from he is 'right wing' and loves the limelight ('bring him on'), which we all know.

Maybe you're saying he is 'King' of the extremist loonie right wing brigade, even more important than the Republican candidates of the same hidden agenda, perhaps.

Ray you take this far to serious. The challenge of this 1-6-1contest was to have all three lines rhyme. The only rhyming two words I could think of that fit together were wing an king. That drove the poem. I did not put a name because I really don't have a preference and wanted to evoke some thought; make it interesting. Your reply is terrific an I am pleased to read it. six syllables wound you up to reply with about 150 syllables. Making folks wheels turn is what we write for. Thanks for the great reaction.

I don't take much 'seriously' in life at all. EXCEPT perhaps when I'm being nit-picky in reviews. ;-)

I always try to think and offer the writer respect, and when I review I try to incorporate wit or constructive critique if I see fit, or at least assure the writer I've read the bloody thing. ;-).

I don't think I can be accused of dishing out un-due compliments or fluff reviews just to gain the cents and climb the reviewer rankings, like MANY on here.

Right - now where's some haiku so I can pretend the 'original' imagery of a tapestry of autumn leaves on the floor made me dizzy with wonderment? ;-)

This was a tough write The only two words that I could think of that rhymed together were wing and king. and that drove the poem. Through in a little politics and I knew lots of folks would get worked. So many people thought I was talking about Trump but it was all about evoking thought.. Thats what we for to evoke thought. I don't know who I will support. this is a hell of a race. I think all politicians are greedy bastard out for themselves.

Read what makes you cry.. I wrote it a long time ago. It makes the point about poems evoking thought and not being personae experience. Believe me I did not play with dolly at least toy ones. You too
